Acne Home Remedy Using Apple Cider Vinegar Acne Apple Cider Vinegar is a natural cure for acneApple Cider Vinegar is an effective natural agent that cures acne by killing the bacteria and balancing our skin's pH level (which is a measure of acidity). It also absorbs excessive oil from our skin, which is a leading cause of acne. - Dilute the Apple Cider Vinegar in water by one part of vinegar and 3 to 4 parts of water. - Apply the solution directly to your skin with clean cotton, and leave it there for about ten minutes. - After ten minutes, rinse off the vinegar. - Repeat this three times a day. For severe cases of acne, the solution can be used overnight without rinsing. For more severe acne, the water ratio can also be reduced to 2 or 3 parts per one part of vinegar, but this stronger solution should not be left on overnight. Acne Home Remedy Using Tea Tree Oil Tea Tree Oil is a great anti-bacterial natural substance. When applied on acne, tea tree oil helps the immune system to kill the bacteria and consequently reduce the inflammation. Using Tea Tree Oil in conjunction with Vitamin E supplements (an anti-oxidant) and an excellent healing agent, can not only heal the blemishes but also cure scar tissues. - Dab a cotton swab into the tea tree oil. - Gently apply the oil onto the acne areas with the swab before going to bed. - Rinse off the tea tree oil in the morning. - Take Vitamin E supplements as directed on the package to speed up the healing process. Acne Home Remedy Using Nettle Tea Nettle tea as an acne remedy- Wear gloves when handling fresh nettle plants. - Remove leaves from stems and discard stems. - Fill a teapot full of nettle leaves - Pour boiling water over the leaves. - Steep for 5 minutes. - Add honey and/or lemon if desired and drink. The tea will be somewhat bitter. However, it is quite nutritious an especially high in calcium. Dried nettle is also available in tea bags but will not be as effective. Dried nettle as an acne remedy Nettle can be purchased in pill form. The pills contain freeze dried nettle and can be taken as recommended. Be sure to drink plenty of water along with dried nettle. Precautions Nettle may cause stomach irritation in some people. Nettle is also a diuretic and should not be taken by nursing women. Acne Home Remedy Using Dandelion Using Dandelion shuns wet places, it has two outstanding qualities: it is useful in disorders of the liver and of the gallbladder. Gather the leaves before, the stems during, the time of flowering, the roots in early spring or in the autumn. The whole plant has medicinal powers.Dandelion and Stinging Nettle have a blood purifying effect. They aide the functions of the liver and the pancreas, thus reducing the hormonal imbalances in the body. Infusion: 1 heaped tablespoon of roots is soaked in cold water overnight, brought to the boil and strained next day. This amount is apportionately sipped, half an hour before and half an hour after breakfast. Salad: Made from fresh roots and leaves. In spring you can serve the whole plant as a salad or make an evening meal of the leaves mixed with potatoes and garnished with boiled eggs. Stems: 5 to 10 flower stems are well chewed and eaten daily. As long as the plant is in flower diabetics should eat up to 10 stems daily. The stems with the flowers are washed and only then is the flowerhead removed and the stems are slowly chewed. They taste somewhat bitter at first, but are crisp and juicy similar to a leaf of endive. Sickly people who feel constantly tired and are without energy should take a 14-day course of treatment with the fresh stems of Dandelion. Acne Home Remedy Using Walnut Leaves A tea of walnut leaves cleanses the blood and is an effective remedy for intestinal disorders, as well as for constipation and lack of appetite. A decoction of the leaves, added to the bath water, is beneficial for scrofula, rickets, caries and swellings of the bone, as well as for festering toe and finger nails. An improvement is noted soon, if areas affected by cradle-cap, scabs and scurf are washed with a decoction of the green leaves. Baths and washings enriched with this decoction are used for acne, festering eczema, sweaty feet and leucorrhoea ("whites") Infusion: 1/4 litre of boiling water is poured over 1 heaped teaspoon of finely cut leaves, infused for a short time. Bath addition: 100 mg. of leaves per bath; for washings, 1 heaped teaspoon of cut leaves per cup of boiling water (see General Information "bath"). The double amount is used for a strong decoction.
