2. Stinging Nettle (Urtica dioica) can help even in chronic constipation. Eat nettles in whatever form you prefer.
It is not only one of the constipation natural remedies, but also a blood cleanser and a treatment for bleeding hemorrhoid.
Drink 3 cups of nettle tea daily. It has a slightly laxative effect and it will help bowel movements.
Here is an effective natural treatment for constipation with nettles: Use nettle in your diet for at least 30 days, one or more times per day. Drink fresh juice, tea or make a broth (soup or the same as you would prepare spinach).

Have you drank nettle tea with prunes? In addition to being a natural constipation home remedy, you might even find it delicious.
3. Remember the delicate blue Chicory (Cichorium intybus) flowers? You won't believe this, but its roots are a very good constipation home remedy.
The indigestible sugars in chicory root stimulate formation of friendly bifidus bacteria in the colon. It also increases the stool's biomass and its water content. In addition, it stimulates peristalsis (bowel movement) improving the stool's elimination.
Take 2 teaspoons of Chicory root powder each day, one in the morning and one in the evening. Follow this constipation remedy for 3 weeks. You can resume it, if necessary, after 5 days of rest.
Be careful when using Chicory in large amounts as a kidney stones home remedy, because it has a high content of oxalates.
4. One of the cheapest constipation natural remedies at your disposal is wheat bran.
Eat 2-4 tablespoons of wheat bran daily with yogurt, milk or soup. Wheat bran is excellent for constipation because it cleans thoroughly the intestines (much like a sweep) and it also provides plenty of vitamins, especially B's.
Some people can't stand the bran's stifling taste. If that's the case, you can use bran tablets from health stores instead.

In case of hemorrhoids, use these natural fiber sources in your diet as a treatment for bleeding hemorrhoid to soften the stools and make them easier to pass.
